Las Vegas Pizza Restaurants

Rosati’s Pizza located at 2555 Wigwam Pkwy in Henderson has been serving pizzas to the Chicago area for 30 years and opened a restaurant in the Nevada desert to expand their market and to please many of the native Chicagoans in the Las Vegas metro area.
Rosati’s has a large loyal following and is equally adept at the deep-dish style that the Windy City made famous, and the traditional thin crust pies that can be topped 17 different ways. There’s also a ‘double-dough’ pizza, extra-thick with a hand-rolled edge. Ask any Chicagoan and he’ll tell you it’s the sausage that makes or breaks a hometown pizza, and at Rosati’s all the meat toppings have the requisite spicy zing. The menu also features Italian beef, subs, pasta dishes and a few non-Italian specials, such as barbecued ribs and country-fried chicken.
Aurelio’s Pizza located at 10960 S Eastern Ave # 107 in Henderson has been serving pizzas since 1959 in several locations out the greater Chicago area. Seeing the boom of restaurants in the Las Vegas metro area, they decided to open a restaurant in the desert. The house specialty is a thin crust pizza, which is odd considering Chicago is famous for its pan and deep-dish varieties. But the Italian sausage has an extra bit of zing, and the cheese is cooked to a soft orange glow, both qualities associated only with Midwestern pies. Aurelio’s also serves several pasta dishes, Italian beef and sausage sandwiches, chicken served alfredo or Parmesan style, and gourmet chili from an old family recipe.
Metro Pizza located at 1395 E. Tropicana Avenue in Las Vegas is not your traditional pizza restaurant, but a 232-seat, full-service restaurant. Garlic-Romano fries are among tasty appetizers. The Thompson Street pizza topped with spinach, ricotta and garlic is a favorite of most customers. The Sunspot pizza topped with grilled chicken, artichokes, Roma tomatoes and garlic, and the barbecue chicken calzone are favorites. So is the rigatoni with roasted mushrooms and tomatoes. The outstanding tiramisu is definetly worth a try if you have room left over. California and Italian wines complement the fare, plus beers including Metro Family Brews crafted by the nearby brewery inside Ellis Island Casino

Sammy’s California Wood fired Pizza located at 6500 W. Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas features a bright, breezy ambience with large windows, attractive imported tile-covered walls and floors and lush plants hanging from the ceiling. They are known for using exotic toppings such as Jamaican jerk shrimp and smoked duck sausage. New York-style pizza is king here and among the favorites is pie topped with tomato sauce, sautéed mushrooms, pepperoni, salami and Italian sausage. If you are not in the mood for pizza, there are options that can substitute. The Thai chicken salad is a hit with Asian-marinated grilled chicken breast with julienne vegetables, Roma tomatoes, peanuts, bean sprouts, cilantro and spicy Thai dressing. They also have other Asian influenced dishes such as the pork dumplings. The garlic-marinated shrimp angel hair with sautéed wild mushrooms and fresh artichoke hearts in white wine cream sauce is also a winner, but Entrees include prime beef, seafood and pasta with Asian influences. For dessert, try the satisfying crispy caramel apple sundae.
